Jobillico, the Quebec job site is changing hands. Software supplier and buyer Harris Computer acquired it in early August. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.
The Ontario firm, a subsidiary of Canadian company Constellation Software which manages more than 160 companies in 20 different industries, intends to ensure the growth and prosperity of the portal launched in 2010.
“This acquisition is part of our vision to expand the range of our solutions for companies from multiple industries both in Quebec and Canada” said Harris Quebec president Sylvain Gauthier in a press release.
“Harris has shown a deep commitment to our customers, our employees, and our product. I am very confident that this acquisition will only drive the company forward,” said Jobillico president and co-founder Serge Lavallée.
The Jobillico team, which includes more than 70 employees, supports more than 5,000 companies across Canada in their search for new talent. The bilingual website has more than three million users from coast to coast.
