What we expect

Role R****esponsibilities

  • Lead and manage the national Certificate of Recognition (COR) program in Ontario, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee updates to the Health & Safety Management System, including COR standards and document control.
  • Act as technical lead for internal and external audits, coordinating documentation and audit activities.
  • Manage compliance on pre-qualification platforms (e.g., ISN, SafeContractor, ComplyWorks).Oversee subcontractor compliance through ISN and collaborate with the Purchasing Department.
  • Liaise with WCBs and Safety Teams across Canada.
  • Provide guidance on project bid requirements and ongoing customer compliance.
  • Manage occupational health and safety claims, including complex cases with third-party providers.
  • Serve as primary contact for the national Health & Safety inbox, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Support the national Health & Safety program in collaboration with regional teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update health and safety policies to ensure legislative compliance and annual reviews.
  • Support implementation, monitoring, and improvement of Safety Program initiatives.
  • Administer and maintain the Safety Management System.
  • Lead participation in WSIB Safety Group/Safety Excellence programs.
  • Coordinate translation of safety documents with third-party providers.
  • Develop and deliver training on various health and safety topics to promote awareness and compliance.

Who we are looking for

Role****Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Certification as an NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) or NCSA (National Safety Compliance Administrator) is considered an asset.
  • Certified COR Internal auditor certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Pre-Qualification websites is considered an asset.
  • Experience with using Microsoft and PowerBI
  • Experience in claims management is required, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex cases.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Bilingual in French and English is considered a strong asset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly (approximately 15%).
