Summary
We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented leader to be part of our global Advanced Technology Solutions organization. The Global Business Office Director will be a strategic account owner, developing specific market strategies and leading the extended organization to develop and grow accounts in support of the Industrial strategy.
The Industrial market is complex and evolving, and customer requirements are ever-changing. We're seeking a highly motivated and savvy business leader to devise and execute strategies and influence stakeholders to attain and grow multiple accounts.
This role is a prime development opportunity for those interested in developing their entrepreneurial and business growth skills, while shaping the future of a growth business unit
Job Overview

Ownership of the global financial P&L and balance sheet performance; provides global account direction to all stakeholders, including operations, supply chain, finance to ensure account growth and performance

Develop market sub-segment strategies, including synthesizing market trends and needs to develop go-to-market strategies, target accounts, and value propositions.

Responsible for providing cross-functional and cross-regional leadership to develop and execute global account strategies for profitable growth.

Develops and directly owns the customer relationship at an executive level; monitoring of customer satisfaction across all business elements

Develops and negotiates customer contracts
-
Directly engages with sales and business development to create and present insight-led customer proposals; develops specific customer value propositions including unsolicited approaches

Works with the Industrial Sales Leaders and team to identify funnel opportunities and growth strategies

Supports three year strategy and planning for specific market sub-segment and customers

Develops and deploys multiple service engagement models

May directly or indirectly manage global GCBU team members
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship management and business development skills
- Commercially savvy, with understanding of P&L and balance sheet drivers at Celestica and for our customers
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills
- Thorough knowledge of operations, including manufacturing processes, supply chain, product life cycles, logistics and product delivery methods.
- In-depth knowledge of product pricing, contracts and contract negotiations
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve results
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, detailed and complex projects
- Proven track record of account management
- Value based solution selling, business judgment, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Experience working and communicating with senior level executives.
- Exceptional ability to work with others as part of a cross-functional team
- Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated ability to have successfully carried a sales, revenue or operational quota gains
Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment or manufacturing floor
- Likely there will be a significant amount of travel between customer and Celestica locations
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ experience. Of those 7 years, at least 3 managing others
