About the role

Job Description The Sales Representative is responsible for developing sales in a specific geographic territory. Duties include prospecting for new business and making calls to existing and new customers for the purpose of selling Automotive Finishes products, which include Sherwin-Williams labeled automotive paint and associated products. Typical accounts include automotive body shops, production, and fleet shops.

Responsibilities

  • Élabore un calendrier d'appels de vente régulier pour garantir que les besoins et les attentes du client sont satisfaits.
  • Se familiarise avec tous les produits, y compris leur application et leur préparation, de la gamme Sherwin-Williams Automobile.
  • Utilise notre système de gestion de la fidélisation de la clientèle (CRM) pour enregistrer toutes les visites des clients et suivre la progression des nouveaux comptes.
  • Développe une stratégie de pré-appel quotidienne et hebdomadaire pour garantir que le temps est correctement alloué.
  • Réalise des démonstrations de produits pour aider à la vente et à la commercialisation de produits de finis pour automobiles.
  • Accède aux informations sur le produit et techniques pour répondre aux exigences d’application des clients.
  • Identifie les moyens de renforcer la relation commerciale avec les clients.
  • Maintient une communication efficace avec le directeur des ventes sur les stratégies et les opportunités sur le marché.
  • Respecte à tout moment les normes de sécurité de l’entreprise.

  • Collect reliable customer/territory information and estimate individual customer potential.
  • Conduct competitive product comparisons and identify current competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and S-W’s competitive advantage.
  • Develop a strategy to grow sales and profits to key, potential, new and existing customers. Through the sales process, identify the customer’s needs and develop solutions to profitably grow sales.
  • Develop a regular sales call schedule to ensure that the needs and expectations of the customer are met.
  • Familiarize self with all products, including their application and preparation, in the Sherwin-Williams Automotive line.
  • Utilize our Customer Retention Management System (CRM) to log all customer visits and track the progress of new accounts.
  • Develop a daily and weekly pre-call strategy to ensure time is properly allocated.
  • Conduct product demos to assist in selling/marketing of automotive refinishing products.
  • Access product/technical information to support customers’ application requirements.
  • Identify ways to strengthen the business relationship with customers.
  • Maintain effective communication with sales manager on strategies and opportunities in marketplace.
  • Adhere to company safety standards at all times.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE :

  • Doit être âgé d'au moins 18 ans

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES :

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent
  • Doit avoir au moins 2 ans dans un poste lié au service à la clientèle
  • Minimum d'un an dans un poste lié à la vente
  • Capacité et volonté de voyager selon les besoins
  • Antécédents de gestion efficace en matière de contrôle des dépenses, de gestion des ventes et de direction du personnel
  • Doit être capable d'utiliser un ordinateur et maîtriser les produits Microsoft Office
  • Compétences mathématiques de base

Qualifications Préférées

  • Expérience en vente dans les domaines des revêtements, de l'automobile ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Une expérience en vente externe est fortement préférée
  • Baccalauréat
  • Expérience de l'utilisation d'un système de gestion de la fidélisation de la clientèle (CRM) pour enregistrer les visites des clients et suivre la progression des nouveaux comptes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively communicate and influence others
  • May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least 2 years in customer service-related position
  • Minimum of 1 year in sales related position
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
  • Previous record of effective management with regard to expense control, sales management, and directing personnel
  • Must be able to operate a computer and have proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience in coatings, automotive, or a related field
  • Outside sales experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience utilizing a Customer Retention Management System (CRM) to log customer visits and track the progress of new accounts
  • Previous experience conducting product demos to assist in the selling/marketing of products
  • Proficiency in developing a pre-call strategy to help ensure efficiency of time
