Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team, to lead the testing for our upcoming retail banking digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance from functional as well non-functional standpoint, and understanding of retail banking software/solutions.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build test plans for new features, continuously improving existing ones.
  • Requirement Analysis and design test cases.
  • Conduct various types of testing (Smoke, Sanity, Functional, SIT, E2E, Compatibility, Regression, Accessibility, Performance) and assist with UAT and post-production verification.
  • Conduct mobile app testing to ensure quality across web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Engineering team members, Product Managers, and Infra teams.
  • Identify, track, and report defects, perform root cause analysis, and support defect triage.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of QA processes, test cases, and findings.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across all team members.

Qualifications & Experience Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

  • 3+ years in QA engineering, with expertise in manual as well as web & mobile testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficient with JIRA, Zephyr, Postman, and Cross-browser/device tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Added Advantage

  • Exposure on - performance/stress testing, accessibility testing, security testing, automated testing.
  • Having worked in Start-up or fast paced environments
