We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Thunder Bay, ON. Summary The CSR is responsible for caring out all types of day-to-day customer service activities by ensuring timely resolution and communication with customers (internal and external) regarding a variety of customer service issues.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service for customers regarding accounts
- Partake and manage customers through the phone and email customer service queue
- Provide tracing and P.O.D. information to customers (external and internal)
- Update all external customers portals
- Answer inquiries and provide prompt communication regarding status of shipments
- Coordinate special pickup and delivery of loads or shipments
- Update system on all proof of deliveries
- Substitute for main reception
- Complete spreadsheets regarding designated customer shipments
- Manage image exception report
- Maintain all department filing (electronic and paper) file systems
- Practice and support all Safety and Health initiatives
- Other duties related to goals of warehouse
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent with good math, language and reading skills. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, attention to detail and problem solving skills. Working knowledge and experience with customer data software systems is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office program, especially excel. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment. Transportation or logistics experience would be ideal.
Physical Requirements You will be required to a computer and telephone simultaneously while sitting for eight hours.
