Motor Vehicle Accident Coordinator – Lifemark Father David Bauer Arena Status: Permanent Full Time Schedule: Monday to Friday Calgary, AB Lifemark Health Group is seeking an administrative professional to work as a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Coordinator . This individual will be responsible for facilitating exceptional written communication to our customers and supporting best practices with clinical staff.
The MVA Coordinator is highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, analytical in their thinking, and possess exceptional problem solving skills. Superior verbal and written communication skills are required, framed with a solid knowledge of insurance legislation.
Responsibilities include:
- Timely review of clinical reports and forms for quality, continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling and grammar
- Ensuring reports are consistent with legislative requirements and customer standards
- Effective reviewing of clinician reports prior to MVA claim submission to insurers
- Liaise with clinicians within the clinic to discuss reports and provide guidance and feedback as required for case management
- Communicate with customers and administrative teams on clinical triage and consultations for referrals, as applicable
- Assist clinical staff on utilization of report templates/ standardized formats
- Maintain accurate records utilizing web-based tracking systems to monitor timelines, due dates and reporting expectations
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation as it relates to key customers
- Solid working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and navigate new systems
- Exposure to motor vehicle accident case management considered a strong asset
