Title: Information Technology Security Analyst
Salary: $74,663 - $93,328 - $102,660 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)
Location: Sinclair office (Metro Vancouver) location on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

About the role
As Information Technology Security Analyst, you will provide operational support for key IT security monitoring technologies and processes. You will assist in coordinating investigations into information security-related incidents and policy violations. As well as you will ensure information systems used by FNHA are compliant with FNHA information security policies and industry best practices. Additionally, you will participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of information security projects, objectives, policies, and procedures. In addition, you will provide training on FNHA Information Security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

About you
Education

  • University degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience

Experience

  • At least 5-7 years of experience of relevant and recent experience in Information Systems and technology in a medium to large-sized organization of a complex diverse nature
  • Experience in an IT security/technical analytical position responsible for managing security infrastructure, preferably in a health sector and/or IM/IT environment

Knowledge

  • Comprehensive knowledge of supporting an IT security governance and compliance program
  • Comprehensive knowledge and ability to interpret event logs
  • Good working knowledge of the following technologies:
  • Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solution
  • Enterprise vulnerability scanning solution
  • Data Management Solution
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Sound knowledge of industry standards and best practices for information security

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
