About the Role
Community Living Greater Sudbury (CLGS) is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager, Community Inclusion & Person-Driven Services to lead and grow our Community Services Department. Reporting to the Director of Community Services, this position provides strategic and operational leadership to a wide range of services including Community Participation Supports, Passport, Host Family Programs, Supported Independent Living, Employment Supports, and Volunteer Coordination.
The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for inclusive communities and self-directed services and will play a vital role in supporting CLGS’s mission to empower people and inspire possibilities.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and oversight to multiple service streams, including Community Participation, Passport, Host Family, Employment, and Volunteer Coordination.
- Inspire and promote a culture of inclusion, service excellence, and innovation aligned with the mission and values of CLGS.
- Supervise and support a team of managers and frontline staff through coaching, mentorship, and performance development.
- Ensure programs meet and exceed Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) standards, Quality Assurance Measures (QAM), and internal benchmarks.
- Develop and implement strategic service plans aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using data, KPIs, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and strengthen community partnerships and networks that promote inclusion, engagement, and meaningful opportunities for the people we support.
What We’re Looking For
- A university degree in Social Services, Disability Studies, or a related field; postgraduate
- education or equivalent senior leadership experience in health or human services is required.
- 10+ years of experience in developmental or social services, including 5 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of leading diverse, multi-program teams in a community-based, nonprofit setting.
- Deep understanding of MCCSS frameworks, QAM standards, and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated success in program development, evaluation, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience managing employment support programs and volunteer services is a strong asset.
- Effective communicator with strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, especially in complex service situations.
- Completion of a recognized leadership, management, or coaching certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and outcome-based service planning.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Bilingual (French/English) is required.
