Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Hourly Rate: $50.00 - $53.00

Role Overview
- Implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the unique challenges of Rope Access operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, including NDT technicians and Rope Access technicians, on safety protocols, equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action initiatives to prevent recurrence of accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.
- Deliver engaging safety training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance awareness and promote a strong safety culture among all employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations, industry standards, and technological advancements in Non-Destructive Testing and Rope Access techniques, and incorporate relevant updates into HSE programs.
- Support field teams with safety planning and compliance.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders on HSE matters.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum three (3) years work experience in Health, Safety, and Environment, in industrial or energy sectors.
- CRSP, NCSO, or equivalent designation preferred.
- Specific knowledge and expertise in Non-Destructive Testing and/or Rope Access an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong understanding of Alberta's regulatory environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region.
