ERHL is an Indigenous-focused primary health care clinic that offers wraparound healthcare to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis individuals and families. The goal of ERHL is to provide access to care that is safe and respectful of cultural beliefs. ERHL is made up of an interdisciplinary team providing medical support from physicians, nurses, and specialists. Connection to traditional FNMI healing and cultural services is supported by Elders/Knowledge Keepers. Social work, and outreach staff help clients with crisis support, resource navigation, case management, and advocacy. The vision of ERHL is to have healthy Indigenous communities that are connected and empowered to access healthcare. As the Admin Support IV, you will demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction & quality health services. Be self-directed, have strong communication, professionalism & customer service skills. Demonstrate critical thinking, time management & conflict resolution. Accurately collect & document information promptly. Be adaptable in an environment with constant interruptions & short timelines. Show accountability & attention to detail. Foster collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team. This position requires flexibility and adaptability within a complex and rapidly changing environment that may involve working with clients who present as aggressive &/or emotionally distressed. This position includes answering calls, scheduling appointments, referrals, follow-ups, scanning, linking, & triaging client requests. It also includes rooming patients, performing vitals, and various clinical duties.

Required Qualifications:
Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Knowledge & respect for the diversity of Indigenous populations, communities, culture, and history. Experience working with Indigenous populations. Experience using electronic medical records (Connect Care). Experience with booking appointments, understanding of clinic workflow/processes, and triaging of calls. Experience in primary health care community clinic setting. Strong working knowledge of client experienced barriers to health access. Experience with linking, referrals, scheduling, follow-ups, etc. in a clinical setting. Experience with difficult clients and shown aptitude for de-escalation. Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an MOA certificate preferred. Experience rooming patients, taking vital signs as well as weight & height measurements. Completion of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention an asset.
