As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of appraisal and claims processes. You’ll work closely with internal teams to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and uphold Aviva’s standards of excellence.

What you'll do:
- Conduct regular audits of appraisal files to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and industry standards.
- Customer facing reinspection of quality issues in repairs handled by contracted partners.
- Identify trends, gaps, and training needs through data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with Appraisal Leaders, Vendor Management and Claims teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Support the development and refinement of QA frameworks, tools, and documentation.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance quality and performance.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in auto claims, appraisals, or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of insurance principles, estimating platforms (e.g., Audatex, Mitchell), and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
Preferred assets:
- CIP or related insurance designation.
- 310B or equivalent license.
- Experience with Mitchell or similar digital appraisal platforms.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
