What you’ll do:

As a Warehouse Associate at the Eastern Canada Distribution Centre, you will be responsible for maintaining daily shipping and receiving operations, as well as:

  • Receive all equipment in accordance with established procedures, record the receipt of goods, verify received items against purchase orders, and accurately place all incoming inventory on shelves.

  • The incumbent is also responsible for picking items from shelves, ensuring the accuracy of both quantity and product type selected. They are responsible for shipping orders to customers or branches and verifying shipment contents against issued order forms.

  • Prepare customer orders and follow up on supply with vendors.

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move merchandise within the warehouse.

  • Perform various administrative tasks and other related duties.

What it takes:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to handle and lift goods up to 60 lbs.
  • Forklift experience
  • Safe Warehouse Operating Practices
  • Co-operative teamwork

Assets to have:

  • Knowledge of the SAP Inventory Module EWM

  • WHMIS/TDG certification
