POSTING: OST-26-01-06-108 SCHOOL: Haliburton Highlands Secondary School
POSITION: 1.0 Long Term Occasional Teacher (3 sections during semester 2) During the 2025-2026 school year, the above full-time long term occasional position will commence Friday, January 30, 2026 and terminate on Friday, June 26, 2026 .
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the following:
Semester 2 ENG1L - Grade 9 Locally Developed English Qualifications: Intermediate division is required, and English qualifications are preferred and Special Education qualifications are preferred.
ENG3E/4E/OLC - Grade 11/12 Workplace English and OLC Qualifications: Senior division is required, and English qualifications are preferred and Special Education qualifications are preferred.
ENG2L - Grade 10 Locally Developed English Qualifications: Intermediate division is required, and English qualifications are preferred and Special Education qualifications are preferred.
Salary: Salary placement will be determined by the Board in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Board and Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation District 15 (OSSTF) and calculated based on the candidate’s verified teaching experience and category rating. The current salary grid is included for information purposes . Applicants may apply to all or part of this position.
