Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the ERP & HCM Systems Developer is responsible for the design, development, configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of the organization’s cloud‑based Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
This role works closely with Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and IT to gather requirements, design and implement workflows, develop and maintain reports, and ensure secure, reliable data integration across enterprise platforms.
The position focuses on leveraging SaaS-native capabilities, APIs, and integration patterns rather than on‑premise customization, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and well‑governed enterprise solutions that support financial operations, workforce management, and organizational strategy.
The ERP & HCM Systems Developer will:
- Configure, develop, and support cloud‑based ERP and HCM SaaS platforms
- Support financial modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Projects, Assets) and HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Position Management, Payroll, Onboarding, Workforce Management)
- Translate Finance and HR business requirements into system configurations and extensions aligned with SaaS best practices
- Maintain system configuration documentation for both ERP and HCM platforms
- Stay current with system release reverses, complete testing of system changes and work the software company on system related issues
- Gather requirements, design, implement, and test end‑to‑end business workflows across ERP and HCM systems
- Develop approval, onboarding, job change, financial control, and cross‑system workflows
- Ensure workflows support auditability, internal controls, data integrity, and compliance
- Continuously evaluate and improve workflows to increase automation and efficiency
- Gather reporting requirements from Finance and Human Resources stakeholders
- Design, develop, test, and maintain financial, workforce, and operational reports in SSRS and Power BI
- Ensure consistent data definitions across ERP, HCM, and related analytics platforms
- Support leadership and operational reporting through accurate and timely data deliver
- Design, develop, and maintain API‑based integrations between ERP, HCM, payroll, benefits providers, and other enterprise systems
- Support SaaS integration patterns including real‑time, event‑driven, and scheduled data exchanges
- Ensure secure handling of financial and personal employee data
- Establish and enforce enterprise data standards and integration best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration, data flow, and synchronization issues
- Required to work after hours occasionally and participate in the On-Call Emergency support rotation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud‑based SaaS enterprise systems
- Experience working with ERP and/or HCM platforms in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of API design, data integration, and enterprise data flows, including working with Swagger, REST API and Oauth
- Understanding of financial and human capital data models
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential financial and employee information
- Strong communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL (SSRS), Power BI and Access Databases
- Skilled in leading enterprise-wide ERP leadership and development, ensuring alignment with business needs and maximizing ERP ROI.
- Proven experience as a cloud‑based ERP and/or HCM Systems Developer
- Demonstrated experience supporting HRIS / HCM platforms and collaborating with Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT teams
- Experience developing and supporting SaaS integrations using APIs
- Experience designing and maintaining workflows and reports in enterprise systems
- Experience working with data integration, data synchronization, and data quality
- Understanding of roles, permissions, and access controls within enterprise systems

Position Summary
