Job Description:

We are seeking friendly, reliable, and energetic individuals to join our events team as BANQUET/BISTRO SERVERS!

This position is being advertised to fill an existing vacancy within our organization.

As a Banquet/Bistro Server, you?ll play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences at weddings, corporate events, galas, and more. You would also work in the Battery Bistro, located at Fort Henry. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Please note that this is a dual role. You will be scheduled bistro serving shifts and banquet serving shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms and tables according to event plans
• Greet guests and respond to service requests promptly and professionally
• Serve food and beverages during events following proper etiquette
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces
• Break down and clean up after events, including clearing tables and packing equipment
• Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
• Driver?s License and/or ability to travel to different locations is an asset
• Smart Serve Certification
