<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div>Position Summary:The International Logistics Coordinator supports global supply chain operations by coordinating international shipments, managing ocean freight operations, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory for effective communication with international customers and overseas partners. This position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to maintain efficient and reliable logistics processes. Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate and manage international shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.• Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to track shipments and resolve delays.• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.• Monitor import/export compliance and ensure adherence to international trade regulations.• Liaise with internal departments (sales, purchasing, operations) to ensure smooth logistics operations.• Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and vendor communications via email, ERP system and spreadsheets.• Identify opportunities to optimize shipping routes, costs, and timelines.• Assist with troubleshooting issues as required. • This job may require additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by SGF Qualification:• Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, International Business, or a related field.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.• Fluency in written and verbal Spanish is required.• Strong knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms, and customs documentation.• Excellent communication and organizational skills.• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems.• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
