Reporting to the Vice President, Operations the Pursuit Adventure Centre (PAC) Manager drives the performance and standards of service at all Pursuit Adventure Centres and desks; by ensuring all staff are knowledgeable, follow consistent policies and procedures and provide each visitor with the highest quality experience. The Manager works collaboratively with Reservations, Retail, Attractions, Sales & Marketing and Applications team to deliver seamless and integrated service at PAC.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Driving the selling, cross-selling and up-selling of Attractions Packages, Combo Passes, Brewster Express, Sightseeing and Third Party Activities to surpass monthly and yearly sales targets
  • Deliver enhanced service to our guests by championing the innovation of new products, efficiencies, standards and approaches
  • Emplace, maintain and update standard PAC policies and procedures that ensure all operations are consistently executed across all PAC’s (Banff, Jasper, Calgary and Lake Louise)
  • Oversee all operational aspects of recruiting and training for all PAC front line staff and directly assist in recruitment and selection of positions for supervisor and above
  • Identify, present and execute opportunities to add efficiencies to employee processes or enhancements to the guest experience
  • Provide leadership and support in the creation and implementation of incentive and recognition programs that inspire sales and service excellence
  • An active member of the PAC teams, supporting peers and continually working at building a cohesive team which works together effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure all guests issues are handled effectively in a timely manner, and that “Service Recovery” or appropriate follow up is conducted
  • In collaboration and alignment with the Regional Sales team, oversee the street team that promotes Banff Jasper Collection products and experiences at Affiliate locations and select regional consumer events
  • Maintain positive working relationships with tour group companies, suppliers, resellers, Affiliates, 3rd party vendors and other departments
  • 5+ years of proven management and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Innovative outlook and customer centric world view
  • Refined sales and service training abilities
  • Computer knowledge and experience with RTP, Word and Excel
  • Accounting experience an asset
  • Second language an asset
