A leader in international aerospace and defense heavy maintenance and modifications, PAL Aerospace is currently hiring Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Avionics) for fixed term and independent contracts in St. John’s, NL.
In your capacity as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (E licensed) your primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Carry out the repair, servicing, modifications on various aircrafts;
- Troubleshooting;
- Co-ordinate parts requirements with Maintenance Management and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions;
- Comply with all company safety practices and procedures;
- Complete all required documentation and certification of journey log entries for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performed;
- Be familiar with all Transport Canada and company documents pertaining to your work;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an AME;
- A.M.E License Cat. “E”
- Working knowledge of Dash 8 aircraft would be an asset
- Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as the International Correspondence School;
- Must possess strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills;
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Trouble shooting skills;
- Must be able to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check prior to employment.
