Global Banking and Markets
Global Banking & Markets provides a full range of investment banking, credit and risk management products and services relevant to the financing and strategic development needs of our clients. Our products include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, fixed income products, derivatives, energy, foreign exchange and precious & metals. We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by the Scotiabank Group.
Position:
The Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for reconciling and overseeing all complex facets associated with the cash and security clearance & ledger activities and in so doing ensure an appropriate level of operational efficiency, strict adherence to Bank and regulatory policies and procedures and escalation of issues to management consistent with our internal and external customers’ needs is maintained and effective procedural and management controls are in place.
The Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for the preparation, investigation, reconciliation, and accurate resolution of the organization’s book of records on behalf of Scotiabank including BNS Group Treasury, International Subsidiaries, Scotia Capital Inc., Scotia iTrade, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., Scotia bank Europe PLC, BNS Asia, Wealth Management, Scotia Trust, Scotia Private Client Group, BNS Custody Services and Hollis as they pertain to the complex reconciliations. They work closely with his/her Senior Reconciliation Specialist in capturing and monitoring Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
The Reconciliation Analyst is responsible to ensure that all customer inquiries are handled promptly and professionally in an accurate & timely manner resulting in a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
