As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in all areas related to the management of sales, human resources and operations. This will include the planning, organization and control of all operations, as well as hiring and training of new talent, and performance evaluation. You will ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures and the implementation of our business strategies. You will be responsible for communicating sales goals, promotions and special events to your team, planning work schedules, opening and closing the store, as well as carrying out and supervising the management of in-store inventories.

We will count on you to train and direct staff in accordance with our high standards of client service and store merchandising, with a view to promoting a positive work environment and creating one of the most pleasant customer experiences possible. By achieving this, you will in turn contribute to the achievement of store sales and profitability goals.

Qualifications required to become an Assistant Store Manager at DeSerres:

  • At least 2 years’ retail or equivalent experience.
  • A dynamic approach, a strong customer orientation and a talent for sales.
  • Leadership skills and good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the retail business environment and market tendencies.
