What we are looking for:


The Fiera Comox Private Credit Opportunities Fund primarily focuses on private credit opportunities (1st lien, 2nd lien and mezzanine debt) to mid-market companies in North America and Europe. Fiera Comox’s experienced team has developed a robust due diligence process, a large deal pipeline, and an extensive global network. Please refer to our Fund website below for additional information:

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify and perform preliminary analysis of investment opportunities
  • Conduct due diligence of potential investments
  • Assist / lead the management of consultants and advisors during the due diligence process
  • Lead the development of financial models for potential investments
  • Prepare investment summaries, memorandums and presentations during the investment process
  • Identify key risks of potential investments and on-going risk management of investments
  • Support on-going management of our investments by assisting with financial monitoring and analysis
  • Participate in presentations to Investment Committees and Board of Directors
  • Take on many different roles and tasks to support the growth of the Private Credit Fund
  • Assist with the ongoing marketing and fundraising initiatives.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or other related fields;
  • CFA or CAIA an asset;
  • Masters or MBA an asset;
  • 2-5 years of experience in private markets investing, investment banking, transaction advisory work or in management consulting;
  • Financial modeling and analytical skills;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and French;
  • Strong acumen for business;
  • Team player;
  • Ability to work independently and take initiatives;
  • Confidence and maturity to appropriately represent the team;
  • Ability and flexibility to adapt to a wide range of roles.
Specific conditions:
  • Ability to travel occasionally (North America and Europe)
