The Workforce Planning Associate is accountable for providing the Saskatoon Health Region with services in the areas of recruitment and retention including providing support to the following program areas: student programming, mentorship and onboarding. The incumbent assists with the delivery of programs and recruitment and retention initiatives, performs research of best practice, and completes special projects and other duties as assigned. This position provides direct support for casual optimization work standard process.
A baccalaureate degree in Commerce or Administration, preferably with a major in Human Resources Management, Education, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients at all levels of the organization.
Strong writing skills.
Proficient in computer software programs such as MS Word and excel spreadsheets, experience working with an HRIS.
Ability to direct, coach and interrelate with all levels of staff, including the ability to develop and facilitate formal educational presentations.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with client, co-workers, stakeholders and potential applicants.
Must be comfortable working independently without extensive supervision.
Must demonstrate polished interpersonal skills, high energy and flexibility.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
Ability to work in a in a team environment.
Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to make quick and accurate day to day decisions.
