Job Description:


Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.

Heli-One has an opportunity for a Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineers “E”. The successful candidate will be a detail-orientated team player who maintains impeccable safety and quality standards. Certifying Staff is the core of our base maintenance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform aircraft inspections
  • Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawing and blueprints
  • Test repaired aircraft systems and other routine maintenance work
  • Troubleshooting defective systems
  • Record problems and actions taken
  • Maintain accurate statement of maintenance history of the aircraft
  • Assist in instruction of apprentices
  • Shift Work may be required
  • Some international travel may be required
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies

    Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Transport Canada AME “E” Type license
  • Minimum 18 months’ experience in helicopter line maintenance
  • Experience and/or endorsements on Sikorsky, Bell, Agusta or Airbus aircraft
  • Experience in modification installations would be preferred
  • Efficient use of electronic or paper based manuals
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards
  • Self-motivated and logical problem solving capability
  • Results oriented with a focus on quality
  • Strong positive interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with ability to take direction and follow instructions
  • Some international travel may be required for MRT assignments
