The AZ Driver follows dispatch instructions to complete trips to construction sites in a timely manner. This position requires excellent customer service skills and adherence to safety standards.
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including profit-sharing and company-paid group benefits with a pension plan. Uniforms are provided. A safety boot allowance is paid annually. Current rate is $24.93 – $27.70/hour with increases governed by the collective agreement.
The nature of this position also requires the AZ Driver to perform a wide range of physical activities, ranging from pushing and pulling, lifting and carrying heavy objects (25-50 lbs), to sitting, bending and handling with repetitive movements. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
The employee will be on the road frequently and may be exposed to construction and steel-fabrication environments. Personal Protective Equipment must be worn inside the plant and job sites at all times (including but not limited to: safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest and ear plugs).
