Job Description

The software development team is looking for a back-end web developer to join us and contribute to moving part of its Vortex platform to the web. The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic and experienced team, in which responsibilities are shared. It is an opportunity to contribute to the online strategy of the company and its products. The Vortex platform is used for real-time training simulators and virtual prototyping of heavy machinery (e.g., cranes, excavators) as well as robots. For more information visit our website at:


  • Participate to the development of a cloud based infrastructure for our simulation product lines
  • Collaborate with the different development teams and respond to their needs in terms of back-end solutions
  • Follow the Agile and continuous delivery process development


  • DEC required (Bachelors an asset)
  • 3-5 years of experience in development of commercial applications
  • Expert in web development technologies
  • Knows one or several third-party libraries and framework, like NodeJS, NestJS, Django
  • Very comfortable with scripting languages like JS, TypeScript, PHP, Python
  • Experienced with databases and usage in web frameworks, like SQL, MongoDB
  • Knowledge of security concerns and best practices
  • Skilled in developing cloud applications hosted on standard providers, like AWS, Azure
  • Experienced in interacting with devops and multidisciplinary dev teams
  • Comfortable with software process development and tools, like Jira, Bitbucket
