Air Borealis is currently seeking applications for full-time and part-time Cargo Agents in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to Transport Canada Regulations; • Respond to cargo inquires; • Provide freight quotes; • Accept small freight; issuing waybills and handling cargo; • Provide internal and external customer support; • Manage cargo supplies and inventory; • Process cargo for shipping based on customer needs; • Perform general office duties as required; • Operate forklift; • Operate a delivery van; • Other duties as assigned.
• Class 5 license; • Ability to perform duties related to cash sales and POS system; • Previous experience in customer service would be an asset; • Ability to lift weight handling up to 50 lbs.; • Excellent communication and organization skills; • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
