Thank you for your interest in the Certified Esthetician position with Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa located at 325 Washmill Lake Drive, Unit 4, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
As an Esthetician at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, you will be among the most skilled and trained skin therapists in the world, providing each client with exceptional service and results. You are an expert at resolving skin care concerns, and you will customize each facial to your client's individual needs. You will prescribe our professional skincare products and promote our exclusive lifestyle membership program.

Responsibilities:
- Greet all clients with a warm, generous and inviting manner
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service
- Explain treatment to client before beginning service
- Exhibit a strong desire to help others and promote health and wellness benefits of facials
- Make appropriate recommendations on product purchases as well as facial frequency and pull products for clients to purchase
- Willingness to learn, understand and promote all spa services and product lines
- Maintain a professional work environment and appearance
- Communicate client updates to Spa Associate or Spa Manager to keep database up to date
Qualifications:
- Esthetic diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-3 years experience as an esthetician
- Knowledge of skincare lines and products (Dermalogica and/or Clarity product knowledge an asset)
- Effective sales techniques and retail experience an asset
- Outstanding and discreet customer service skills
- Schedule flexibility
- Strong team player
