The Division of Melanoma/Skin Oncology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their research team. Applicants must have some familiarity with cancer biology and medical terminology, experience with patient interaction and in a medical setting. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable working independently in a busy oncology clinic environment.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to screening and identifying patients eligible for clinical research studies; collecting and maintaining study patient data; research ethics board submissions, regulatory maintenance of studies; sample (blood/tissue) coordination; performing cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested to assist the Melanoma/Skin Oncology site group.
Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
