Our Moncton Office has an immediate opening for a Commercial Property Paralegal. This position is permanent and full-time.

At Cox & Palmer, our support staff is an essential part of our team effort to deliver outstanding service to our clients. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will:

prepare acquisitions documents and sale of commercial properties, financing, and land development matters;

draft deeds/transfers, review and analyze purchase and sale agreements, property surveys and mortgages, loan and security documentation, disclosure statements and amendments;

conduct title and due diligence searches;

prepare internal documents related to trust transactions;

prepare and finalize reporting letters

prepare or fulfill requirements of real estate closing undertakings; and

act as a liaison between lawyers, clients and other firms, as well as internal departments and external affiliates.


2 plus years of experience working in a Commercial Real Estate Property Paralegal role;

Attention to detail is a must as well as accuracy and working independently in a fast paced environment;

Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution; and

High level proficiency in Microsoft applications and typing skills
