At Cox & Palmer, our support staff is an essential part of our team effort to deliver outstanding service to our clients. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will:
∙prepare acquisitions documents and sale of commercial properties, financing, and land development matters;
∙draft deeds/transfers, review and analyze purchase and sale agreements, property surveys and mortgages, loan and security documentation, disclosure statements and amendments;
∙conduct title and due diligence searches;
∙prepare internal documents related to trust transactions;
∙prepare and finalize reporting letters
∙prepare or fulfill requirements of real estate closing undertakings; and
∙act as a liaison between lawyers, clients and other firms, as well as internal departments and external affiliates.
∙2 plus years of experience working in a Commercial Real Estate Property Paralegal role;
∙Attention to detail is a must as well as accuracy and working independently in a fast paced environment;
∙Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma from a recognized
∙High level proficiency in Microsoft applications and typing skills
