Job Description :
More specifically, you will be called upon to:
Complete maintenance activities on protection and control systems;
Complete maintenance activities on high voltage apparatus;
Be in charge of business relations and the quality of professional services;
Prepare service offers;
Conduct pre-operational verifications and proceed to the commissioning of electrical instrumentation and apparatus;
Monitor worksite projects being carried out at our clients’ facilities;
Prepare test programs;
Define safety procedures and criteria;
Draft commissioning reports;
Participate in the execution of detailed engineering projects;
Draft technical documents, calculation notes and estimates;
Apply established work methods and ensure their improvement.
Work Schedule :
37.5 hours/week
Skills :
Know how to mobilize the necessary resources (staff/finances/material) to comply with deadlines and achieve objectives;
Know how to assign and define duties and tasks, duration and level of expertise to each project stage;
Demonstrate skill in managing relations with clients and colleagues;
Inspire respect and confidence and foster a favorable climate for teamwork;
Able to demonstrate/sell skills to peers, and internal (directors and/or project leaders) and external work delegators;
Results oriented.
Good knowledge of protective relays and their functions;
Good knowledge of substation maintenance practices.
Good knowledge of low, medium, and high voltage electrical instruments;
Good knowledge of safety in electrical facilities;
Ability to draft technical documents;
Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Acrobat Reader and other database applications;
Requirements :
