By joining our team, your role will consist in contributing to construction and commissioning phases for various projects in the heavy industry sector as well as for various power generators. As such, you will be required to perform technical surveys for substations, monitor job sites and proceed to the commissioning of electrical equipment.

Moreover, you will also participate in engineering phases by carrying out the following: prepare plans, test procedures, technical specifications and building estimates by using established calculation and design methods.

Job Description :
More specifically, you will be called upon to:
Be in charge of business relations and the quality of professional services;
Prepare service offers;
Perform tests, conduct pre-operational verifications and proceed to the commissioning of electrical instrumentation;
Monitor worksite projects being carried out at our clients’ facilities;
Provide assistance to testing of electrical equipment being conducted in plants;
Prepare test programs;
Define safety procedures and criteria;
Draft commissioning reports;
Participate in the execution of detailed engineering projects;
Draft technical documents, calculation notes and estimates;
Apply established work methods and ensure their improvement.

Skills :
Know how to mobilize the necessary resources (staff/finances/material) to comply with deadlines and achieve objectives;
Know how to assign and define duties and tasks, duration and level of expertise to each project stage;
Demonstrate skill in managing relations with clients and colleagues;

Good knowledge of protective relays and their functions;
Good knowledge of substation control systems;
Good basic knowledge of high and medium voltage electrical instruments;
Good basic knowledge of safety in electrical facilities;
Ability to draft technical documents;
Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Acrobat Reader and other database applications;
Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
