Job Summary

Responsible for the planning, co-ordination and maintenance of activities related to technical soutions requird to support KPI’s, metrics and reports required to support the management of GR&D product portfolio.

Serves as an intermediate technical specialist for New Product Development and Product Selection Management to deliver customized solutions to support business process.

Collaborates with management to ensure business tools support the mandate of this group. Maintains relationships within GR&D and potential other departments within Apotex.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical specialist for NPD. Assisting management with customized reports and business analysis related to GR&D process and oversight of the GR&D portfolio.
  • Assist in defining and tracking Business Success Criteria performance metrics. Support the management with business performance reporting of key performance indicators, metrics, measures and business results.
  • Support the development and implementation of GR&D strategic and fiscal year operational plans, including resource and capacity planning, by providing accurate and detailed data reports.
  • Support the management of Project Management and Portfolio systems ensuring that they stay responsive to changing business conditions and emerging technologies.
  • Assist with the maintenance of SharePoint sites to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Support and provide input/feedback for all new process designs or enhancements.
  • Support diverse and innovative methods of communication to maintain and improve data exchanges and contribute to a collaborative working environment, increased productivity and better customer service.
  • Manages assigned projects or project sub tasks/activities, as requiredWorks in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Education
  • Univeristy Degree or College Diploma in health sciences or a related field required.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Developed project management skills, PMP Certification an asset
    • Experience in pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods
    • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
    • Excellent understanding of MS Project Management tools
    • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS desktop tools (Word, PowerPoint)
    • Advanced excel knowledge is asset
    • Experience with databases and working knowledge of SQL
    • Experience with reporting tools and development
    • Strong analytical skiils
    • Strong interpersonal, communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to internal and external customers
  • Experience
    • 3+ years progressive experience the pharmaceutical industry
    • 3+ years progressive supporting systems and users
    • 3+ years experience in report development or analytics
