Utilize your building systems knowledge and technical expertise to generate demand for the BMS trade products across Canada with a focus on the Quebec market. Create new business through demand generation activities including technical sales presentations, specifying engineer lunch and learns, and technical trainings. Be a self-starter that wants to understand the technical details of our solutions and enjoys educating / supporting customers.

This is a work from home role with 50+% travel in the geographical area.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical sales presentations to educate end users, engineers and contractors on field devices
  • Strategic lead at select large or national consulting engineer firms – be the face of Honeywell and get Honeywell BMS products specified and listed on Master specifications
  • Develop “go to” relationships with consulting engineers at executive and project design levels to increase the volume of specifications listing “Honeywell WEBs” and close projects to drive increased revenue
  • Help coordinate engineering and sales support for local Quebec building automation projects
  • Provide application support and design assistance to Honeywell WEBs contractors
  • Educate customer’s sales, programmers, and field technicians
  • Collect voice of customer (VOC) feedback on field devices as well as software and hardware solutions
  • Engage in customer-facing activities and marketing events
  • Work with Territory Managers to grow field device sales in all regions through product training and getting BMS Honeywell WEBs product specified on projects. Follow projects through to closing.
  • Travel 50+% across Canada

You must have:

  • 2+ years of technical field experience
  • 2+ years calling on consulting engineers and good presentation skills
  • Bilingual in both French and English

We value:

  • Minimum of 5 years programming experience with a Niagara based BAS line
  • 10+ years’ experience in a combination of install, tech support, and/or programming BAS line
  • N4 Certification
  • Ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
  • Ability and desire to educate and support customers directly
  • Experience with Honeywell building automation controllers (Spyders and CIPers)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Familiarity with HVAC industry, requirements, and future mandates
