Job Description

  • Lead, coach and manage a multi-disciplinary technical team composed of mechanical engineers, game level designers, software programmers, QA and integration specialists, computer graphic artists, etc. for the development of the simulators of different equipment in construction, port, defense, and other industries
  • Set goals and objectives in line with the business priorities and personal career plans of employees, while providing effective coaching
  • Communicate clearly the context of different projects and tasks so as to create a meaningful and motivating environment for the maximization of team's engagement and productivity
  • Lead the team to deliver the projects/products with high-quality on the schedule and within the budget based on agile management principles
  • Work in close collaboration with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Product Managers to deliver winning products in the market
  • Act as a major player in continuous improvement of processes for better efficiency and fast sustainable growth
  • Effectively contribute to identify technical directions for long-term sustainability and improvement of tools used by the development team
  • Lead the team to provide the cost estimation for new products and project sales alongside technical proposal description
  • Update the staffing planning and the release plan in accordance with the product roadmaps and financial objectives of the company
  • Work on the forecast of the projects completion for the monthly financial projections
  • Keep the team within SLAs of the customer support issues received from the clients worldwide


  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer/Software engineering, or Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering with specialization in dynamics and/or control system design with minimum 10 years of industrial experience
  • 5 years of management experience, ideally in content development for the gaming industry or in engineering simulation
  • Practical working experience in agile framework, ideally SCRUM for software product development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with external clients is a strong asset
  • Having certification as a Scrum Master is an asset
  • Experience in Python and/or C++ are assets
