Your role as a Protection and Control Engineer in Digital Power Systems will be to take part in engineering projects related to transmission and distribution systems.
Our Digital Power Systems group is a
multidisciplinary solution team that provides all the engineering skills
necessary to define, design, build, commission, and operate digital systems in an
electrical network. The team operates 4
laboratories across Canada to evaluate components performance and pre-test
systems prior to installation in the field. All these laboratories can also be virtualized in the cloud, if the
application requires it, be used for simulations and for trainings.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of professional services provided and maintaining good working relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients. In such a position, we expect the candidate to have developed a good understanding of electrical design principles, codes and standards, as well as protection and control of systems and apparatus through various applications within the industry, utility and industrial. The ideal candidate will have also been exposed to field work, including assembly, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
