Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, is looking for an Electrician for its Tillsonburg, Ontario stamping facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the plant with electrical troubleshooting, installation and preventive maintenance of plant and production equipment.
  • Operate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant’s machinery and equipment, while improving processes to minimize disruption to the production line
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including PLC and motor controls, safety sensors and relays
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drives, bearings and gears


  • Certified Ontario Electrician (442A/309A or interprovincial license) with PLC and motor controls troubleshooting experience and technical knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment, preference will be given to those with automotive manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional team members
  • Mechanical aptitude/ interest
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and working conditions
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Participate in and support Lean initiatives
  • Other related tasks.
