Align, test and troubleshoot system level products, EO assemblies and all classes of Lasers
Repair or rework existing assemblies
Work with Engineering on product development
Maintain test data, complete NCRs, analyze and advise on corrective actions
Assist in investigating, developing and implementing new test instructions
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including 5S best practices
Facilitate On-the-Job Training when required
Continue to develop knowledge and skills through cross training
1 - 2 years previous related work experience in the Electro-Optical field/Electronics field
Electronics, Robotics or Optronics/Photonics College Diploma
Experience with Lean Manufacturing an asset
Preferred Additional Skills
Experience in the field of assembly and troubleshooting Optical, Electronic and Mechanical devices
Understanding of techniques in the use of hand tools, soldering, crimping and optical bench practices
Ability to use a variety of electronics and optical measuring devices
Understanding of video and light transmission concepts
