Crunch Fitness Canada is seeking a go-getter Marketing Assistant to join the marketing team. The successful candidate will build on their marketing and communication knowledge by performing a wide variety of tasks to assist in the execution of marketing plans.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, creative person with extremely strong written communication skills. Qualified individuals will have a strong familiarity with social media, and a strong love for fitness and health. This is an entry level position with opportunity for growth. This is a full-time position based out of Cambridge, Ontario.

CORE DUTIES

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the social media team on the planning, execution and reporting of social media marketing activities to drive awareness and build our overall audience.
  • Update all social media sites with approved marketing content
  • Organize, update, and coordinate all marketing material as needed
  • Assist in the coordination of events and campaigns
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Develop and test new campaign strategies to better target users and improve overall marketing efficiencies.
  • Develop a high level of social media marketing expertise and contribute to overall departmental strategy.

  • Creativity, teamwork, and strong attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills with attention to details and dates
  • In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with social media marketing
  • Experience using popular social media outlets (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc)
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Solid understanding of the social media environment
