This is where you come in – our Underwriting teams manage the profitability of our business to make sure we can keep giving back. We manage 142 Million in business in six provinces. You will assess risk for business, establish rates for new and existing business, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and develop effective relationships to ensure our success.

What you need to succeed:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting, business, finance or insurance concepts and/or related experience
  • Strong technical aptitude – you quickly learn new technology and complex systems, like to know they detail to ensure you know the “whole” story
  • You are a problem-solving master, you understand the end goal and think creatively about how to get there
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • You are an effective communicator – you know how to explain complex financial analysis and problems
  • Effective analytical skills with high attention to detail;
  • You are a natural negotiator and can “sell” your ideas and concepts to persuade others to engage in your recommendations.
  • Years of Experience - Intermediate (2-5 years’ experience), Senior (5-15 years’ experience) or Expert (15+ years’ experience)
