Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to customers and retailers.
  • Answering customer inquiries on the telephone, electronically and in-person regarding information about Londonderry and our retailers.
  • Following proper procedures for opening & closing of the Customer Service Desk and all related paper work.
  • On-going daily operation of the Customer Service Desk, ensuring that it is always clean and tidy.
  • Selling Londonderry gift cards, supporting Marketing programs, promotions, events as required.
  • Acting as first point of contact - answer, follow up and/or redirect customer comments, complaints and inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Monitoring Londonderry social media channels for messages
  • Assisting with posting promotional materials on social and websites
  • Wrapping gifts for customers throughout the year.
  • Lending out wheelchairs & following correct sign out procedures.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a retail customer service environment.
  • Have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Be available to work days, evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to provide Clear Police Record Check.
  • Have excellent leadership, interpersonal skills & be self-motivated.
  • Have an outgoing personality & able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have high school diploma or higher
  • Degree/diploma in Business, Marketing etc. is an asset
