About Us

Kennebec Construction Services Ltd. is an open shop, multi-trade, specialty contractor serving Atlantic Canada. Kennebec Construction Services Limited’s three main operating divisions include: Construction Management, Electrical Contracting and Communication Cabling.

We are currently seeking applications for HVAC Technician and Apprentices interested in joining our team in Charlottetown, PEI. Salary range $25/hr to $30/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and install HVAC systems
  • Assist in testing the HVAC system’s functionality
  • Successfully completing repairs
  • Installing and repairing ductless mini-split heat pumps and ventilation systems
  • Repairing and maintaining air filters, bets, bearings, and thermostats
  • Identifying maintenance risks with the equipment
  • Communicate with customers about various system options
  • Diagnosing, analyzing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, components, and controls
  • Ensures equipment is within design capabilities
  • Ensuring all safety procedures are followed

Education & Requirements

  • Red Seal Certificate or minimum of two-year experience
  • Has a driver’s license
  • Air conditioning & refrigeration license (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
