The Inkjet Application Specialist Demo is a product expert, responsible for executing pre-sales support activities by giving professional demonstrations and producing samples on Agfa’s wide-format printing equipment. Using exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills you will translate technical information into impactful features and benefits to sales personnel and their prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Becomes a product and application expert as a part of the Mississauga Demo Team, with world-wide influence to support the sales process with your end-user application and product knowledge.
  • Performs demonstrations to show off equipment and workflow software capabilities to customers at the Mississauga Demo Center as well as at local/global tradeshows and exhibitions.
  • Executes the printing, packaging, and shipping of sample requests with fine attention to quality, taking care to provide communication status updates to the local Sales team via a database.
  • Tests and troubleshoots new customer applications, documenting workflow to educate customers on how to produce final products on Agfa equipment with the best visual and physical print characteristics.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to define and draft demo scripts for demonstrable products to best communicate unique selling points
  • Conceptualizes and designs sales sample kits as well as other visual material in cooperation with the HQ worldwide demo center
  • Gives sales and application trainings to share up-to-date product information and to train the world-wide inkjet system specialists and the sales force.
  • Gathers customer/sales remarks during demonstrations to identify strengths and brainstorm areas of improvement
  • Liaises with HQ to align on application procedures and processes to ensure a one-language approach between Mississauga and HQ.
  • Maintains Demo Center approaches and appearance to deliver a professional and world-class experience to prospective customers

Education:

  • Bachelor Graphic Arts/Electro mechanics or equal by experience

Experience:

  • Experience with Inkjet Printing Systems and Applications
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
