Our Insurance Division currently has an opportunity for a:

Producer/Account Sales Representative

This position is responsible for establishing and growing our personal lines business. Working with the Senior Vice President of London Drugs, this is a great opportunity to maximize your potential and grow your career as an insurance professional.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Ensure maximum profitability and determine sales targets and payroll budgets with the Business Unit Managers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the art practices.
  • Dedicated to excellent customer service.
  • Able to generate sales using effective selling techniques, cross selling insurance products, effective merchandising to create extra sales opportunities and meet sales targets/objectives.
  • Seek opportunities to grow the business within the local market and work with the Business Unit to develop initiatives.
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • CIP/CAIB or minimum LeveI II insurance license (Commercial Experience an additional asset)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance; minimum 1 year personal lines experience
  • Previous experience processing high volume personal accounts, relying on excellent organizational skills while continuing to be customer focused and responsive.
