We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Manager to join our All Weather Windows leadership team. We are looking for a leader with a passion for inventory and to oversee the entire inventory across all divisions and locations throughout the company. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain, we are looking for a self-motivated team-player, who is interested in joining and contributing to a successfully growing organization.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring, directing and coaching our Inventory Management team
  • Managing and leading our Inventory Management System to meet organizational objectives
  • Actively leading continuous improvement projects to address deficient inventory management processes
  • Plan/supervise/schedule/execute physical inventory counts and auditing sub-inventories while continuously improving inventory control policies and practices.
  • Developing and maintaining our ERP system (Infor Syteline) with regard to inventory
  • Oversee the processes for inventory tracking in our CSCs, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Implementation, maintenance and audit of inventory processes/procedures and controls to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are maintained at all times
  • Manage a cycle count program across the organization with the goal of eliminating annual inventory counts.
  • Supervise daily activities of employees assigned to the Inventory Management team
  • Coaching and mentoring of staff to support appropriate inventory management practices

Primary Qualifications Required:

  • Min 10 years’ experience in a Senior role in a Manufacturing Industry preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Access and Excel skills
  • Experience using established problem-solving/process improvement methodology, i.e. Lean or Six Sigma Green/ Black belt certification preferred.
  • Proven success in an Inventory Manager role
  • Demonstrated understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories
  • Knowledge of and implementation experience of electronic barcode/RFID inventory systems/accounting procedures
  • Previous experience with cycle count programs
  • College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
