What is the opportunity?
As Lead Scrum master, within Insurance Technology you will lead/contribute to key insurance technology projects through the use of RBC's agile methodology, stakeholder management and governance expertise to meet program goals. We are looking for strategic thinker, and passionate agile project management enthusiast to drive and support leadership team on executing data and digital strategy.
As a member of a dynamic, fast paced team, this role brings strong project management and extensive scrum master knowledge and experience, effective written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic and a demonstrated capability to multi-task effectively. This role requires strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as a demonstrated sense of urgency to respond to changing priorities at times. This is complemented by a positive attitude and a willingness to take accountability for results achieved.
You will be accountable for the SCRUM teams' effectiveness and leading the team on the implementation of agile practices and policies. This also includes leading, training and coaching others in the organization on the adoption of the Scrum framework and applying lean thinking principles.
You will interact with stakeholders and quickly learn the business objectives, project concepts and lead the team through to successful incremental deployment of value driven solutions Oversees and manages each SCRUM deliverable including vendor-related deliverables for quality and completion. You will work with minimum supervision and full accountability, directing work efforts and finding timely solutions to incidental issues.
