Tlicho Logistics is 100% Indigenous Owned by Tlichǫ Investment Corporation. We provide Site Services Expertise, Project Management, Maintenance Service and Personnel for remote mine sites.


We are currently recruiting for the following temporary position located at the Diavik Diamond Mine Site:


LEO1 (Crane/Equipment Operator)


As part of the overall Fixed Plant Service Operations Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating a 777 Manitowoc Crane
  • Operating Grove RT Cranes, 15 ton, 50 ton, 75 ton and 90 ton
  • Operating 622, 930 and 966 Loaders, and Tractor Trailer
  • Operating other heavy equipment as required

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Experience operating a 777 Manitowoc Crane or its equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications (equivalencies will be considered):

  • Interprovincial crane operator certification required.
  • Minimum five years experience working as a Crane Operator in a heavy industrial setting, preferably mining or mineral processing.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

These positions require individuals with a proven ability to work in a cross cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. All candidates must be open and flexible to perform other duties as required.

This temporary position is site based with a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, day shift and night shift, rotational schedule. And, successful security and medical clearances are required (confirmed criminal record history, medical and drug & alcohol tests).
