What will your typical day look like?

We are seeking an experienced SAP Reporting and Analytics Architect with expertise in SAP BW (Business Warehouse), SAP HANA, SAP HANA Extended Application Services (XSA), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office (AO), and a strong focus on HANA performance monitoring, optimization, as well as the development of HANA Calculation Views and procedures. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions that empower our organization to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Architect, design, and implement SAP reporting and analytics solutions utilizing SAP BW, SAP HANA, XSA, AO, and SAC.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Define data models, data flows, and data visualization strategies.

Technical Expertise:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP BW, SAP HANA, XSA, AO, SAC, and HANA performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain data models, calculation views, and analytics applications in SAP HANA.
  • Create and optimize SQL and MDX queries for data retrieval and transformation.
  • Configure and manage security and authorization settings for SAP analytics solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Implement robust HANA performance monitoring solutions to ensure the efficiency and reliability of SAP HANA databases and SAP BW.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze query execution plans, and optimize SQL queries.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and fine-tune configurations to enhance overall system responsiveness.

HANA Calculation Views and Procedures:

  • Develop and maintain HANA Calculation Views and procedures to support complex data transformations and analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to build efficient data processing pipelines.

Integration and Data Management:

  • Integrate SAP reporting and analytics solutions with various data sources and systems, including SAP BW.
  • Ensure data quality, data governance, and data consistency across reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to streamline data pipelines.

Documentation and Training:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on SAP reporting and analytics tools.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and data scientists.
  • Communicate technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an SAP Reporting and Analytics Architect, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Robust expertise in SAP BW, SAP HANA, XSA, AO, SAC, SAP ABAP, CD Views, HANA performance monitoring, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in SQL, MDX, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • SAP certifications in relevant technologies (optional but preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP BusinessObjects, Web Intelligence, or other SAP reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics solutions and platforms.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
