The Company’s sports betting app ‘theScore Bet’ delivers an immersive and holistic mobile sports betting experience and is currently available to place wagers in New Jersey, Colorado, and Indiana. Publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (SCR), theScore also creates and distributes innovative digital content through its web, social and esports platforms.

Typical Work Day at theScore:

  • Assist theScore team across a range of marketing, growth and communications activities, including, but not limited to:
    • Researching and disseminating internally relevant daily news and trends related to mobile apps, digital, sports media, and sports betting.
    • Assisting in the development of marketing materials, including presentations, digital advertising, and newsletters.
    • Assisting in PR and communications activities, including researching and building media lists, and other material development as required.
    • Reviewing and analyzing data and assisting in compiling and distributing internal reports.
    • Managing elements of the company’s corporate website, including writing blog posts and ensuring all content remains up-to-date.
    • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Holding or working towards a degree in public relations, communications, marketing, sports business or other related field.
  • Knowledge of a variety of tools including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience using Photoshop or other design software an advantage.
  • Excellent writing and research skills.
  • Good knowledge of all major social media platforms.
  • Self-starter able to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a fast-moving and agile team.
  • Knowledge or experience of sports and online gaming / sports betting an advantage.
