The First Nations Financial Management Board (FMB) is a national First Nations-led Institution that, upon request, supports First Nations in developing sound financial governance practices. Reporting to the Legal Counsel, the Paralegal provides effective legal and administrative support to the Market Development, Financial Administration Laws & Stakeholder Relations team while handling multiple and simultaneous imposed deadlines. Effective communication and the ability to handle a high volume of work is essential to this position.
The Paralegal prepares materials such as draft responses/informal review and reports on Financial Administration Laws (“FALs”) and Financial Administration By-Laws (“FABs”). Significant attention to detail, initiative and accuracy is essential for success.
The Paralegal performs other duties as assigned.
Equivalent or relevant education and/or experience may be considered.
